Hello, I’m Diane, the owner of All4One Farms. After seven years of hosting hundreds of weddings, I can tell you that fall is one of the most magical seasons here in North Florida. There’s a special kind of energy in the air as the temperatures finally start to drop, and our city comes alive with festivals, football, and outdoor fun. Many couples who choose our farm for their wedding are drawn to this incredible season. It’s the perfect time to tie the knot, and it’s also an amazing time to showcase our city to your out-of-town guests. If you’re dreaming of a beautiful autumn wedding at a premier Jax wedding venue, I invite you to schedule a tour and experience the beauty of our farm in the fall.

The crisp air, the softer golden light—it all makes for an unforgettable wedding backdrop at our outdoor wedding venue. We love seeing couples embrace the season, with rich color palettes, cozy fire pits, and even fun touches like a caramel apple bar. A fall wedding in Jacksonville isn’t just a single-day event; it’s an opportunity to create a whole weekend experience for your guests. With so much to do in the area, you can turn your wedding celebration into a mini-vacation that highlights the best of our vibrant city. That personal touch, showing your guests why you love this city, is what makes a wedding truly memorable.

Our Favorite Fall Activities in and Around Jacksonville

Whether you’re looking for fun activities to recommend to your wedding guests or you’re a local just wanting to make the most of the season, Jacksonville has something for everyone. Here are my top 10 favorite things to do in the fall.

1. Visit a Local Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

Nothing says fall like a trip to a pumpkin patch. Two of my absolute favorites are:

  • Amazing Grace Family Farms
    • Location: 2899 Wisteria Farms Rd, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043
    • Contact: (904) 284-2949 | amazinggracefarms.com
    • Cost: General admission is typically $16.99 per person (children under 2 are free). Check their website for seasonal hours and ticket details.
  • Conner’s A-Maize-Ing Acres
    • Location: 19856 County Road 121, Hilliard, FL 32046
    • Contact: (904) 879-5453 | connersa-maize-ingacres.com
    • Cost: Admission is usually $20 per person for a full day of activities (kids under 2 are free). Visit their website for details, group rates, and calendar events.

Both patches offer sprawling corn mazes, hayrides, petting zoos, play areas, and fall treats. It’s a wholesome, fun-filled day for the whole family and a perfect way to get into the autumn spirit.

2. Experience the Jacksonville Fair

Held every November, the Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair is a beloved local tradition. From thrilling rides and classic carnival games to live music and incredible fair food (hello, funnel cakes!), it’s an event that brings the whole community together. I love seeing the agricultural exhibits and livestock shows, which connect us back to our area’s farming roots.

  • Location: 510 Fairgrounds Place, Jacksonville, FL 32202
  • Contact: (904) 353-0535 | jacksonvillefair.com
  • Cost: Ticket prices typically range from $8 to $15 for general admission. Ride wristbands and special event tickets are extra. Check their website for updated pricing and hours.

3. Cheer on the Jaguars

Fall in Jacksonville means football season is in full swing. Heading downtown to TIAA Bank Field to cheer on the Jacksonville Jaguars is a must-do experience. The energy in the stadium is electric, and the tailgating scene beforehand is a celebration in itself. Even if you’re not a huge football fan, the atmosphere is contagious. It’s a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

  • Location: TIAA Bank Field, 1 TIAA Bank Field Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32202
  • Contact: (904) 633-2000 | jaguars.com
  • Cost: Ticket prices typically range from $45 to $150+, depending on opponent and seat selection. Check the official website for up-to-date tickets and special offers.

4. Explore the Riverside Arts Market (RAM)

Located under the Fuller Warren Bridge, RAM is a bustling market every Saturday, rain or shine. In the fall, the cooler weather makes it the perfect time to stroll through the aisles of local artists, makers, and food vendors. You can grab a coffee, listen to live music, and find unique, handmade goods. It’s a wonderful way to support local small businesses and experience the creative heart of our city.

  • Location: 715 Riverside Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32204 (under the Fuller Warren Bridge)
  • Contact: (904) 389-2449 | riversideartsmarket.com
  • Cost: Admission is free; bring spending money for food, crafts, and local art. Free parking is available in nearby lots or along the street.

5. Go to the Georgia-Florida Football Game

Known as “The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party,” this annual college football rivalry is an iconic Jacksonville event. The city buzzes with energy as fans from both sides come together for a weekend of festivities, tailgating, and, of course, the big game. Even if you don’t have tickets, the atmosphere around the stadium is something to behold.

  • Location: EverBank Stadium, 1 TIAA Bank Field Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32202
  • Contact: (904) 633-2000 | georgiafloridafootball.com
  • Cost: Tickets typically range from $80–$350+ depending on seating and demand. Tailgating areas around the stadium are free to enjoy, but parking fees apply.

6. Enjoy the Beaches with Fewer Crowds

While summer gets all the attention, fall is arguably the best time to visit Jacksonville’s beaches. The crowds have thinned out, the sun is less intense, and the water is often still warm enough for a swim. It’s the perfect season for a long walk along the shore, a bike ride, or enjoying a meal at one of the many oceanfront restaurants.

  • Location: Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, and Neptune Beach all have public access points. Some favorites include Jacksonville Beach Pier (503 1st St N, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250) and Atlantic Beach Town Center (10 Ocean Blvd, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233).
  • Contact: Jacksonville Beach Visitor Center | (904) 241-1515 | visitjacksonville.com
  • Cost: Beach access is free. Parking ranges from free to $7 per vehicle at public lots. Oceanfront restaurant meals are generally $15–$40 per person, depending on the venue.

7. Kayak or Hike on the Intracoastal

Jacksonville is blessed with an abundance of natural beauty. The fall weather is ideal for getting out on the water. You can rent kayaks or paddleboards and explore the marshes of the Intracoastal Waterway, where you might spot dolphins or wading birds. The nearby Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve also offers miles of beautiful hiking trails through pristine coastal habitats.

  • Location: Launch from Kayak Amelia (13030 Heckscher Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32226) for easy access to the Intracoastal or visit the Timucuan Preserve (Twin Bridges Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32226).
  • Contact: Kayak Amelia | (904) 251-0016 | kayakamelia.com
    Timucuan Preserve Visitor Center | (904) 251-3537 | nps.gov/timu
  • Cost: Kayak rentals at Kayak Amelia typically run $30–$40 for a half day (single) and $50–$60 for a tandem. Access to hiking trails at Timucuan Preserve is free. Guided eco-tours are available for $45–$75 per person.

8. Attend the WasabiCon Pop Culture Convention

For fans of anime, cosplay, and video games, WasabiCon is a highlight of the fall calendar. This two-day convention brings together a vibrant community to celebrate all things pop culture. Enjoy celebrity guest panels, exciting gaming tournaments, cosplay contests, and an exhibit hall filled with incredible art and merchandise.

  • Location: Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center, 1000 Water St, Jacksonville, FL 32204
  • Contact: [email protected] | wasabicon.com
  • Cost: Advance single-day tickets usually start around $30, while weekend passes are typically $45–$55 per person. Children aged 3 and under are free with a paid adult. Prices can vary, so check the official website for the latest updates.

9. Stroll Through Historic St. Augustine

Just a short drive south of Jacksonville, St. Augustine is especially charming in the fall. Wander the historic cobblestone streets, explore the 17th-century Castillo de San Marcos, and soak in the Spanish colonial architecture without the intense summer heat. In late fall, the city begins to prepare for its famous “Nights of Lights” festival, where millions of twinkling lights transform the city into a holiday wonderland.

  • Location: Downtown St. Augustine, FL (Castillo de San Marcos: 1 S Castillo Dr, St. Augustine, FL 32084)
  • Contact: St. Augustine Visitor Information Center, (904) 825-1000 | www.visitstaugustine.com
  • Cost: Walking around the historic district is free. Castillo de San Marcos admission is $15 for adults (ages 16+), free for children 15 and under. The “Nights of Lights” festival is free to enjoy (late November through January). Parking in the city garage costs $15 per vehicle daily.

This is why a tour of a All4One Farms is so important. When you visit our farm, you’re not just seeing a potential location; you’re starting to see the entire experience you can create for your family and friends. A tour allows you to feel the space and see how it aligns with your vision. You can walk the grounds, picture your ceremony under the oak trees, and imagine your reception in our open-air barn. It helps make your dream tangible.

Moreover, a tour is our chance to connect. I’ve been doing this for seven years, and I believe the relationship between a couple and their venue is one of the most important parts of the planning process. I want to hear your story, understand your priorities, and answer every single one of your questions. It’s a time for us to build trust and for you to feel confident that you have a dedicated partner in creating your perfect day. Let’s take a walk around the property and talk about how we can bring your beautiful fall wedding to life.

Happy planning!

Diane
